WW1 GERMAN AIRCRAFT SECTION OF SILVER PAINTED FABRIC

4.5" x 18.5" section of silver grey painted fabric, small brownish strip to top and was originally sold with two pieces of German aircraft tail assembly. Colour is of the type used of Pfalz DIII’s.

From the collection of Dr. Douglas Harman., which included fabric and parts taken from Paul Strähle’s Halberstadt CL. IV’s - pieces of which I also acquired.
