Full medal write up
Badge in nickel silver. minimal wear to details, pin and catch in working order, no maker mark but believed to be Juncker. Comes direct from the owner of one of the finest collections of WW1 aviation badges in the world Single WW1 era US Navy Ensign Shoulder Straps. This is the type found on later pilots tunics.
Condition is good, a little mothing on upper right edge. Much scarcer to find that the straps with the stars that were worn by pilots.. Badge is housed in the bottom section of an original pilot badge box. The box its missing the top, although the hinge and section of the top is still in place. Box and badge were separate purchases but match perfectly.
