WW1 ROYAL FLYING CORPS OFFICER CAP AND COLLAR BADGES

WW1 Royal flying Corps Officer pattern cap badge and matching collar badges, the latter both maker marked; ‘Gaunt London’, complete with split pins. This set belonged to the same observer as the three observer wings that are also newly listed.

The owner was and infantry Officer, serving in Egypt/Sinai, from 1916, before joining the Royal Flying Corps in April 1917, where he served with 14 Squadron, again Middle East. He was posted back to the Infantry in Feb/March, serving in the UK/France. He did not join the RAF.

All badges in excellent condition.
