Full medal write up
An unusual copper 12.8cm x 7.5cm plaque with embossed insignia of the Royal Flying Corps and 3rd Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment. Its not clear what the plaque was used for, there are 2 pins to the reverse and solder where two others were. It may have originally been on a cigar box or such and almost certainly belonged to an Officer or Enlisted Man who served in both units during the War.
