BRITISH WAR AND VICTORY MEDALS ‘67174 PTE. W. H. FORTMAN. M.G.C.’

Private William Henry Fortman served in 188th Company, Machine Gun Corps during the Great War. Roll for War medals lists him as an Acting Corporal and was discharged 13 May 1919. Fortman is listed as being admitted to Mendinghem Casualty Clearing Station on 26 October 1917 with a Shell wound to the left leg.

MIC confirms this his only medal entitlement.
