Full medal write up
A small collection of 46 Buttons worn by Royal Navy Officers between 1787 and 1856. This including examples worn during the American War of Independence, French Revolutionary, Napoleonic, China and Crimean Wars. Various sizes.
Group including different Rank at date types for; Flag Officers, Captains and Commanders, Lieutenants, Pursers, Masters, Surgeons. The vast majority 1787 – 1827 types, also a small number of later Victorian Flag Officer, a large 1842 -56 Engineer Officer greatcoat example, Coast Guard, Pilot and a couple I can’t identify. Also what appears to be a Dutch Navy example;

Some very scarce examples and would make superb display for anyone interested in the Royal Navy during the Georgian to Early Victorian times.
