Thomas Evans served in New Zealand from 1854 to 1865.

Thomas was Wounded in Action at the Battle of Hangiaohia (Rangiaowhia) on 22 February 1864. Casualty roll confirms he suffered a Gunshot Wound to the right shoulder.
