Full medal write up
Very unusual set of cloth WW1 US NCO pilot wings, these are very crude in manufacture, possibly field made. Wings to NCO pilots are very hard to find, this set are most probably unique.
Basically these are a cut out pieces of a velvety type material in the shape of two wings and a propeller, these stitched to a piece of blue backing. Very flimsy material, few minor moth nips to wings. Backing a bit frayed rounds edges to hard to tell if they were removed from a uniform.
